ABOUT US
The College of West Africa (CWA) is a United Methodist high school located in Monrovia, Liberia. Opened in 1839, CWA is one of the oldest schools in Africa. CWA has produced many reputable leaders, and the Class of 1994, the Race of Wisdom, continues in that tradition.

The Race of Wisdom organization fosters and develops pride, prestige, and partnership among classmates, alumni, friends, students, and community; and promotes the value of education as well as the legacy of the College of West Africa. Some of our signature educational programs are the “Race of Wisdom Academic Scholarship” and the “Race of Wisdom Professor Sponsorship.”
